It is semantics. I am the pacifist. I want to live free or die. It is clear to me the battle we face is for freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and anyone that infringes upon that is declaring war. Turn the other cheek? And then what?
Past generations have fought the battle of ideas and won. Freedom triumphed. Every generation must fight their battle for freedom, this is ours.

When a fish eats another fish, an insect eats another insect, a gamete pursues another gamete, they commit an act of war. When weeds invade a cornfield, the same. Even an ivy that wraps itself around a tree commits an act of war. War is not a curse which characterizes human nature: it is a curse which characterizes Life. There is no way to avoid war because war is a part of Life.
