Scalia Was Too Kind
Scalia Calls Philosophical Foes 'Idiots' here amen
In a speech Monday sponsored by the conservative Federalist Society, Scalia defended his long-held belief in sticking to the plain text of the Constitution "as it was originally written and intended."
d'oh
"But you would have to be an idiot to believe that," Scalia said. "The Constitution is not a living organism, it is a legal document. It says something and doesn't say other things."
Reason. Logic is a beee-you-tee ful thing
The greatest document ever written in human history.
"Living organism" my ass. That living organism sounds like ebola to me.

Ginsburg's "living organism" assertion is a smokescreen for shoving a hidden agenda down people's throats.
O'Connor's assertion that the US Supreme Court should consult foreign law is another deception.
I'm not a lawyer, but IMHO the three greatest losses to our legal system are:
1. Not referring to the Constitution as it was written.
2. The loss of the concept of jury nullification. The Bernard Goetz case is the first one that comes to mind here.
3. The false belief that once a court has spoken that the court itself is the final authority. That is the worst loss for the legal system in the USA.
