And France, and Londonstan, and Norway, Belgium, Sweden, America (well you get the idea).
Get out your amelling salts, they want the world -- your world........under the Caliphate and they are dead serious.
Read Eurabia today, better yet read the Quran. Here is the latest in a children's magazine here;
The children's website Al Fateh, property of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, demands in its most recent issue the return of the Spanish city of Seville to the "lost paradise" of Al Andalus, as the Muslim part of
Spain was called during its existence between 711 and 1492. The web magazine, whose name means "conqueror," says it is for "the young builders of the future."
"The lost paradise of Al Andalus," explicitly mentioned in the text, is a common meme in the Muslim world. It has led to concrete fatwas declared in order to recover territories conquered by Christian "infidels," such as that of three years ago by the Islamist sheik Yousef Al-Qaradhawi, which explicitly says that "Islam will return to Europe as the conqueror." Al-Qaradhawi is the leader of the European Council for Fatwa and Research, the president of the International Association of Muslim Scholars, and the spiritual leader of many other Islamist organizations around the world.

No surprise here. A little over two years ago, a group of Muslims asked the Roman Catholic bishop of Cordoba, for permission of "joint use" of the cathedral as a church and as a mosque, since Muslims in Cordoba had no formal place of worship. The bishop was going to grant permission, not knowing the Koranic verse that if two or more Muslims pray in a building, it becomes a mosque.
Rome got wind of this, and in record time (even for the Vatican!!) a letter from then-Cardinal Ratzinger, then-Prefect for the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, was sent by overnight courier PROHIBITING the bishop of Cordoba from giving permission for "joint use" of the cathedral. The letter was cited "in the Name of the Holy Father," which meant it had papal authorization.
In 711 there was the Conquest of 3/4 of Spain... in 1492 there was the Re-Conquest... in 2006 the Re-re-Conquest begins.

They tell us that they are the religion of peace. So they cannot be doing the exact opposite such as these things that you say. The al-Fetah is a fake site designed by Karl Rove.

"Concrete fatwas"? To recover territories conquered by Christian "infidels"? "Religion of Peace"?
Those booger-eating camel jockeys are destabilizing our peace! Thank goodness our slack-jawed booger-eaters don't know how to mix the concrete to make a fatwa! No whack job Jewish splinter groups are calling for destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque and rebuilding the Temple Mount on it's ruins in Jerusalem.
http://www.templemountfaithful.org/
And no bible-thumping TV evangelists or best-selling authors are calling for the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the rebuilding of the Temple Mount and then the destruction of the Jewish people so Christ can rule from Jerusalem.

Soldat: We don't see Christians or Jews bombing innocent civilians in homicide bombings do we?? We do see Muslims blowing themselves up hurting people.
Show me where the pope, an Orthodox bishop or a rabbi are calling for the destruction of a nation or a Muslim holy place.....
Give me a break.
Lastly, Pat Robertson is a shyster and whack job... he does not speak for other Christians. Neither do the so-called fundamentalists......

We don't see Christians or Jews bombing innocent civilians? Imagine you're a Arab/Palestinian in the Middle East. Think about the collateral damage you see US forces inflicting in Iraq and Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Pat Robertson IS a shyster and a whack job. As are Jerry Falwell and other TV preachers who say the same. Tim LaHaye has sold 34 million Left Behind books that say 2/3 of all Jews need to die in order that Jesus may rule in Jerusalem. And the Muslim leaders issuing fatwas are no different from Pat Robertson or Jerry or Tim LaHaye. They aren't part of a bureacratic hierarchy. They're only leaders because they've got a following. So they speak for other Muslims the same way Pat and Jerry speak for other Christians.
Google up the Israeli newspaper 'Haaretz' + 'al aqsa' + 'destroy' and look in cached articles and you'll find your material about Jewish groups trying to blow up the Al Aqsa mosque.
C'mon buddy. Try thinking outside the little box you've been living in.

Good Soldier,
First, the name, the name. One of my favorite characters in literature. Schweik was a genius.
I applaud your posts here but I'm afraid they are offered up to no avail. This web site only masquerades as one that supports the lunatic fringe of American political opinion. It's real purpose is the promotion of those policies that promote the State of Israel.
If, by some extreme circumstance, tomorrow morning, Israel and Iran declared an alliance you would see this site suddenly champion Iran and all things Iranian. Atlas Shrugs owes it's allegiance only to Israel, the government of Israel (as long as it's the lunatic fringe there - this site is a big, big supporter of NutAndYahoo), and is a Israel-first set of traitors to the US.
I don't know if you've ever tried to discuss politics with a rabid Israeli or not. I have and it's an extremely lost cause. Much worse than the lunatics we have here in the US. All, all lunancy and idiocy gets excused in the name of security (which means killing all Palestinians, robbing them of their land and exiling them).
Good luck.

Hey NavPers... thanks for recognizing Svejk's origins. This site IS long on spin. But I've met plenty of saliva-sprayers from the other side of the debate. I lived next door to an apartment-full of penniless Arab/Palestinian students in Leipzig for a year... and if you threatened their preconceived ideas they got just as irrational as some of the people here.
But there's a special ring for hypocrites in hell -- like the scum who've been making fun of Ariel Sharon's stroke who thought he could do no wrong a couple of years ago.
As for Israel/Palestine, Yitzhak Rabin did the hard right and tried to make peace. The corruption of Arafat's regime had more to do with that effort's failure than anything else, IMO.
Most people will climb down off of whatever pile of talking points they're perched on if you return vile insult with rational discourse. Even here at Atlas Shrugs.

NavalPerson: This site is here to warn about Islamofascism. You say that if Iran and Israel formed an alliance it would support it?? No way. You and I both know it will NEVER happen.
Islam is pumping money to the Left in the USA and the Left is out to destroy anything it sees as threatening its little totalitarian world view.
You may be in the Navy.... I don't know if you've been studying on any college campuses ... anything traditional in America is being torn down by the Left.

Iran and Israel forming an alliance? Never? Whodathunk that Iran and the Great Satan would trade arms for cash for the contras?
I was in ROTC at Reed College back in the day and the people tearing down traditions there were the right-wingers trying to stifle free speech. I took part in a demo for democracy in the Phillipines and some dweeb narked me off to my ROTC advisor. I served my country to defend free speech and the freedom to worship whatever religion I chose... and all those other traditions in the Constitution.

Your contention is ridiculous, irrational and based on a somewhat twisted though not altogether well hidden antisemitism.
I am a rabid American. My philosphy has nothing to do with religion. NONE.It is based on the free will of men.
My fight and the enormous commitment of my time and energies is to deliver the history making news that the MSM refuses to cover, but wll inevitably change the course of human events.
My "rabid Patriotism" is for America, the country of individual rights.
A man's love for his country is a reflection of an approval of its basic premises, principles and social system, as well as it's culture---it is the common bond among men of that nation. It is a commonly understood culture, and an affection for it, that permits a society of men to live together peacefully.
This is why America and Israel are allies. Shared values. This is why I am an ardent supporter of Israel and any country sharing the same love and fighting the same fight for freedom and the rights of the individual. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Don't even think of painting such noble aspirations as a Jew/Zion of Elders thing.
And while it is not my MO to respond to trolls I will not allow you to paintbrush the fight for this greatest of nations and the protection and sanctity of the greatest document ever written in human history, the Declaration of Independence, with the disabused euphemism "Zionism".
I know a great many Navy Persons, and none resemble you sir, not in the slightest.
So there you have it. Why I do what I do. And no this is not the beginning of a dialog, it is very much the end of it.

I have known a great many Navy Persons as well... and none of them were particularly like one another.
I've got a bone to pick with you, Pamela. Where do you get off putting Pat Tillman up on your wall of honor without mentioning the disgraceful coverup by the Army? The brass tried to hide from his brother and then from his parents and then from the nation that his death was due to friendly fire. They tried to bury how his immediate commander had tried to veto dividing the Ranger unit but that senior staff back at base had wanted to score brownie points by covering more ground -- even if dividing the force left them vulnerable to attack and to a friendly fire incident. Show some spine and print his parents' opinion of how the Ranger command and the Army tried to keep a lid on the facts until the media spotlight had moved on.

Dear Sweet Pamela,
What a crock of pure horse hockey. So you support Israel because of it's support for the US. Isn't that what you said? Crock of hockey.
Do you happen to read any of the bile you spew forth here? Or does it simply form it's self with no concious effort on your part? Perhaps you should read some of the twisted and out of context propoganda you put on this site.
Example: WMDs are in Syria! And where is anything that resembles proof? Why a book written by an Iraqi General who thinks that's where they went AND an Israeli. Now the Israeli would have no bias or political justificiation for saying that would he? Given that particular crock has been peddled by the Israeli's for about 3 years now.
Let me be clear regarding the particularly ignorant accusation you made charging me with being an anti-semite. You are an unconcious fool if you believe that. I am not even anti-Israeli. I am practical and believe in even-handed honesty about the situation in the Middle East. Anti-semitic? Me? Ha!
To tell the entire truth, I recently had my DNA analyzed to determine some of my origins and lo, those results came back with minor strains of Askhanzi and Sephardic DNA. Put that in your noggin of nothingness you run around with. I'm Jewish! And I didn't even know it. We're related. Aren't you happy.
Also, in the interest of full honest disclosure, I do believe the situation now existing in the Middle East is a result of the most outrageous stupidity of the European and Americans following WW1 when they reorganized the Ottoman Empire. What a load of buffoons that was. Today, we're bearing the consequences of that idiocy.
Love 'ya Sis.

Well, there's a HUGE difference here, fella.
1. It's a fact of life... there is collateral damage in a war. It is unintentional, and it does happen.
2. Are you now going to make the conjecture that homicide bombers do not intend to blow up women and children??
Big difference between terrorism and fighting a war.
