Hanging 'Em High In Iran
The West does not know what it is dealing with. Nor should we. To understand the base inhumanity, the barbarism, is to make you one of them.
Iran's new national past time here and here and here and here and here
AFP/File Photo: An Iranian judiciary staff ties ropes prior to the execution.
The Ahmadinejad "administration" believes public hangings increase stock market values, not to mention disposing the despot of those not in his favor, or perceived enemies, or whatever the whim of Ahmadjihadman.
Ahmadinejad told the cabinet meeting back in October that “if we were permitted to hang two or three persons, the problems with the stock exchange would be solved for ever”, according to a Tehran-based newspaper.
This execution brings to 22 the number of people executed in Iran this year, according to an AFP tally based on press reports and witnesses. At least 81 people were counted as having been executed in Iran in 2005.
That's what we know about , that's what Iran has decided to disseminate to the world press for consumption, to show how really tough and nasty they are. Public hangings to show the world "hey fellas we mean business.' And it's not just men, it's equal opportunity murder. Ardeshir Dolat reporting that a young Iranian girl had been sentenced to death by hanging.
Imagine all of the helpless murdered souls that die in secret.
.

Pamela, we SHOULD know what's going on. It's the only way to get the word out.
Another prevalent injustice in Iran is incestual rape. Girls and women are very averse to reporting rape because without the Islamic requirement of "four male witnesses" the female will be accused of fornication or adultery and be executed. What women go through in Islamic countries is nothing short of horrendous.
I knew four Iranian women who are at University of Illinois and all four had confided to me that male relatives had molested them when they were teenagers. I did not know much about Islam at the time and I was astounded that they didn't report this to their parents. Now I understand why. I also understand why many female Islamic students who come to the USA have "minders" in the form of male fellow students from the home country.
Religion of peace... yeah, only for the mullahs and the male elders... that's it.

Those who hate wisdom love death. These guys are completely infatuated with death and destruction. I believe it is time we introduced them to their mistress.

Oracle,
Not yet. No, that's too early. A good ass kicking to show them how much they mucked up is necessary first. No lessons are learned nor become part of history without a recording from THEIR OWN PEOPLE of the misery of pissing off the wrong people.

More moral equivalency horseshit. Next time call us chickenhawks or rant about the illegal war, learn to mix it up a bit.

Mohammed cartoon is a big problem for the world nowadays. Cartoon is cartoon. When Taliban regime destroyed Buddha statues in Afghanistan, no Buddhist voiced for the statues. When Salom Rushdie described Mohammed as a pimp sleeping with a bunch of prostitutes in his Satanic Verses, Iranian regime tried put him on death penalty. Japanese burned Koran, Bible and many other religious scriptures when they invaded Southeast Asia during World War II. Sometimes they cooked pigs in the mosque and used Koran as toilet papers. No Mohammedan complained about what Japanese did. What Nazis did in Europe was the same what Japanese did in Southeast Asia. World Trade Center Buildings had nothing to do with Mohammed and Allah. They were brought down by the Islamic terrorists in the name of Allah. European Embassies in Middle destroyed and employees forced to leave. Did they have anything to do with Mohammed cartoons?
What about Kentucky Fried Chicken and Holiday Inn in Pakistan?
People depict all kind of cartoons. If Mohammedans do not like Mohammed cartoons, they should not destroy the buildings that did not talk.
Now people are tired of hearing of Mohammed cartoons that did not intend to bring war between Mohammedans and none-Mohammedans. Mohammed, Mohammedans consider, was a prophet. But none-Mohammedans have right to consider Mohammed, in different types, either terrorist or politician. Mohammed is considered Mohammedan prophet not for others. Mohammedans always call for Mohammedans to be united to fight against infidels. That means none-Mohammedans should be united to fight against Mohammedans. If the world is not civilized, that may happen. Mohammedans are not allowed to criticize Mohammed, Allah, Koran and Islam. So how do they know about truth?
Cartoons do not create problems. In fact, Mohammedans create Mohammedans as infidels.
In 1997, an Israel woman named Tatiana Soskin drew this caricature of Mohammed as a pig authorizing the Koran and tried to display it in public in the city of Hebron. She was arrested, tried and sentenced to jail.
This one shows Mohammed as a pig, apparently (?) being inspired by the devil.

Jack - the point is, executions are just as barbaric right here at home as they are in Iran.
Lowandslow - again with the "moral equivalency horseshit" horseshit?

lowandslow: It's not the numbers that count...it's _WHY_ there are the executions.
It's one thing to execute someone merely on an accusation... which happens in Islamic countries all the time... it's a whole 'nother ball of wax when a SERIAL MURDERER is executed.

Wow, that's even more than we've had here, in Texas ... of course, the pace has slowed some the last few years, since Perry became Governor ... I guess we'd better get cracking or we'll fall behind the Iranians

In New York, they sentence them but then they circle jerk the system for 30 years. Invariably, they never die.
What is the time lapse in Texas between sentencing and execution. How many years?
In Iran, it's hours right?
Just askin'
