First on our listof RINOs that will be poached is Senator Chafee from Rhode Island. This little worm rode in on the Republican magic carpet only to join the tyranny of the minority
A Republican primary challenge to Senator Chafee of Rhode Island is attracting backing from national groups that favor tax cuts and a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.
The mayor of Cranston, R.I., Stephen Laffey, 43, is hoping to unseat Lincoln Chafee, a Republican who was appointed to the Senate in 1999 after the unexpected death of his father, John Chafee, and who won election to his father's former seat the following year.
I expect all my readers to support Laffey, most enthusiastically.
Chafee's list of crimes against the Republican platform reads like TYRANNY FOR DUMMIES.
Chafee has made many enemies on the right (particularly me) with his votes against President Bush's tax cuts, against the Iraq war, and against a law authorizing sanctions on Syria, and came out against BOLTON. This putz just voted to filibuster the defense appropriations bill over ANWR.
In 2004, the senator flirted with leaving the Republican Party and pointedly declined to vote for President Bush. Mr. Chafee told the Providence Journal that he wrote in the name of President George H.W. Bush as a "symbolic protest."
He has been an enemy of the people going so far as to vote for withdrawal of our troops in Iraq.
To quote Sen. Pryor, drawing up such a timetable would amount to "telegraphing our intentions to the bad guys." Only one Republican, Rhode Island's Lincoln Chafee, thought it would be a dandy idea to let Zarqawi & Bloody Company know just when this country planned to throw in the towel. Actually, the president and commander-in-chief has already announced when American troops will leave Iraq: when victory is achieved. Sounds like a good timetable to me. Because any other will invite defeat.
HE HAS TO GO ! DONATE TO LAFFEY!
act[s] of party disloyalty must be punished swiftly and severely so as to insure that the virus doesn't contaminate other week-kneed Republicans.
