EVEN RICHER! Here is video on President Bush slamming the New York slimes Times on the Intel "eavesdropping" leak earlier today, sorry for the poor screen quality, be happy I caught it at all! Just click play.
(a) (1) Notwithstanding any other law, the President, through
the Attorney General, may authorize electronic surveillance without a court
order under this subchapter to acquire foreign intelligence information for
periods of up to one year[...]
Periodic review, we’re told,
happened every 45 days.
The rapidity and forcefulness of the President’s response should frighten
those who raced to find fault here. But then, when there are no consequences
for making accusations, why not just go ahead and see what sticks, right? (Jeff

No matter how hard treasonous leftists and their media try to make al-Qaeda cells and supporters in the United States into Americans, they will fail as long as President Bush is in office. And if you think you are going to impeach him, think again you slimy traitors.
My money is on J. Rockefeller and his aides as the leakers of this classified program. I doubt if anyone from the NSA did it, but the CIA in its previous role as a central intelligence clearinghouse could have.
Anyone now wonder why the Pentagon did not want Able Danger talked about?

Too bad "neverforget," Atlas, and most of the rest of the right seem unable to look at the bigger picture.
NSA has historically been one of the most effective of agencies at doing it's job--which, by the way, does not inlcude domestic surveillance. In fact, it's expressly against their charter. For Bush to order them to participate in obviously illegal activity is mind-numbingly stupid--about par for the course for Bu$hCo since he could have chosen any number of other agencies but didn't.
I guess you forgot to read the part about the Congress and the FISA court having been informed and that there was periodic review by the Department of Justice.
And, I doubt you know very much about the NSA.
It is not domestic surveillance to intercept communications by foreign agents inside the United States to outside the United States.
So, go play on your anonymous blog along with the rest of your oh, so smart traitors.
The only legal justification that Bush gave for such and act, was his right as President . Meaning that he could just ignore the court set up by the 1978 Foreign Intellligence Surveillance Act to authorize eavesdropping on terrorism suspects, not to mention our Fourth Amendment rights that might have been violated. Are you going to keep passing every illegal thing that is done by this Administration.

Life has Loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fires that sways and swing,
And children's faces looking up,
Holding wonder like a cup
Life has Loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of Gold,
Scent of pinetrees in the rain,
Eyes that love you,
arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight,
Holy stars that star the night.
Spend all you have for loveliness,
Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of Peace
Count many a year of strife well lost
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.
