The Ridiculous Left Shuts Down the Senate in "Double Secret Probation" Closed Door Session
Did you see this?
The left is really sick................did you see that stunt that Reid/ Schumer/ Durbin pulled
today in this clown closed session?
Did you
see chuckie schmucker's diatribe about the libby lies and the weapons of
mass destruction and why we went to Iraq (!)
Meanwhile Paris and
Denmark are burning, fjordman is going to stop blogging
and Iran is
ticking..........THANK G-D WE WENT TO IRAQ! Where would these leftards have us fight these Radical Islamo-fascists? Osama has all but been eliminated and Zarqawi is the leader of the pack of dogs.
Some think Osama is dead, others think he is hiding because he is scared of being killed. Whatever the reason for the strange disappearance of Osama bin Laden, not seen alive since his last mocking video statement a year ago, he is no longer the face of the global jihad against the West.
The Jordanian responsible for some of the worst atrocities in Iraq is Abu Musab al-Zarqawi amd we'll get him too.
Corporate Profits on a Tear
Third-quarter corporate profits have
extended one of the most robust winning streaks in recent history --The President is doing a brilliant job. Yes yes that is what I said. He is
fighting Radical Islamofascism in spite of a corrupt UN and international
community, Stocks surged on the back of a strong GDP report, to cap off a week
of big swings. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 172.82, or 1.69%, to
10402.77. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 1.26% and the Standard & Poor's
500-stock index rose 1.65%.
So what does the Left want?
These people are f*cking dangerous, they are the enemy.
HOW DARE THEY PLAY WITH OUR LIVES THIS WAY? And I am soooooooooooooooo sick of hearing them speak about "the American people want this" and the American people want that". Who the hell are they to speak for the American people?
The America people spoke - on election day. And the left lost the House, the Senate, the White house, the Congress - WE SPOKE NOW GET OUT OF THE WAY! Why are the losers still dictating the national agenda?
Honestly, Radical Islamo-fascism doesn't strike near the fear in me than the fifth column does.
You must vote REPUBLICAN COME ELECTION DAY A WEEK FROM TODAY.

The attempted coup has begun. I don't know if fear is the right word, but I do believe Democrats are traitors.

Looks like the Democrats called for a closed session to discussed classified matters. Doesn't seem worth getting worked up about.
I know spreading secrets isn't considered a crime by the Republicans anymore, but...the enemy is listening.

You're kind of embarrassing yourself, Atlas.

I agree, Howdy. Let's try to follow the logic here:
The U.S. has spent hundreds of billions of dollars and tens of thousands of lives in an attempt to bring "democracy" to Iraq.
Even though Shiites in Iraq are 62% of the population, we are saying to the minority Sunnis and Kurds that, don't worry, under an American style democracy, minority parties will have a say in how their country is run.
Meanwhile in America, 44 Democratic Senators, that represent 144 million Americans, call for an investigation into the faulty intelligence that got us into this war using a perfectly legal parlimentary procedurte.
The 55 Republican Senators, that represent 131 million Americans, freak out and their supporters call the Democrats traitors.
Hmm.
Let's see how the rhetoric would play in Iraq:
The Iraqi people spoke - on election day. And the Sunnis and Kurds lost the Congress and the Presidency - WE SPOKE NOW GET OUT OF THE WAY! Why are the losers still dictating the national agenda?
Hello Shiite Empire than spans Iran and Iraq and Israel left to fight it on their own...

Howdy
Wow, what an insightful comment, if Atlas was a Democrat Senator she would have a biting rebuttal such as "I'm rubber you're glue every thing you say bounces off me and sticks on you."
monkeyboy
If I'm following your reasoning (I wouldn't call it logic), you're saying the Democrats really should be considered the majority party because even though we didn't have the votes to win a majority of seats, it was really what the voters meant. Or are you saying, because people in the major metro areas are mostly enlightened Democrats they really should run the goverment because those rural country Middle Americans really aren't smart enough to run the country or even know whats good for them.
Either way, WTF.

Let's try this, l&s:
Why should the Sunnis and Kurds believe the majority Shiites will give them any say in how Iraq is run when they see the Republicans in America trying to run things without any input from the Democrats?

monkyboy
The democrats have 44 Senators and 202 Congressmen to provide "input" but they don't. They don't offer any ideas, any solutions to the radical Islamic threat, any practical alternatives to any domistic issues, they don't offer anything. All they do is try to weaken the Presidency by fear mongering, obstuction and from what I can tell, temper tantrums.
I have a feeling most Kurds and Sunnis aren't all that interested in the interpolitics of Washington. They are probably happy to have any say in their goverment at all. All while trying to better their lifes and at the same time trying to stay alive against any attack by radical Islamic terrorists who fear any Democratic goverment.

Man, I can only hope that the next time a Democrat is in office, you'll remember that the America people spoke - on election day! And you'll GET OUT OF THE WAY! Because, really, who wants losers still dictating the national agenda?

As far as I’m concerned, today’s displays have taken the Dem’s past any boundary of legitimate political debate or dissent and well into the area of attempting to provoke civil strife by dividing the nation.
Their actions will not be lost on our enemies who will view this, as with elections in Spain and the bombings in Madrid, as a period of weakness and a time of prime opportunity.
Hell…anybody with, even half of a half of, a lick of sense would and commit - regardless of potential loss - the best available personnel and a maximum of effective resources to affect a strike. Talk about waving a red-flag in front of a mad bull.
In one sense it may be quite telling how effective the WoT has been but the Dem’s, like their beloved insurgents in Iraq, have just moved and placed the cross-hairs - from the knee to the temple - on every US citizen both in and outside the US.

Yeah...you can only hope. I've got a better chance of winning the Powerball lotto than of a Democrat getting into office.

It was once the democrats against the republicans, now it's the democrats against America. I say take no prisoners.

What a bunch of cr*p! Rule 21 is an established Senate procedure, one that was used frequently by Republicans during the Clinton administration.
The bigger problem is the willingness of "neverforget" to label 48.5 percent of the electorate "traitors," over a Senate procedure and with no more thought than it takes to write the words on the page. Pretty f**king stupid.
