Radical Islam Attacks America: The David Project Under Siege by "The Islamic Society"
I read something so disturbing this morning, it strikes at the very heart of the freedoms we take so for granted. It made me sick, literally.
The David Project is being sued by the Islamic Society of Boston.
For those of you unfamiliar with The David Project go here, Charles Jacobs and Rachel Fish do such important humanitarian work for Israel, Darfur, oppressed peoples the world over.
This must strike fear in every one of us fighting against Radical Islamosfascism and the freedoms that make the American Experiment, history's most extraordinary society. These attempts by ISB and CAIR to shut us up are as much attacks against America as September 11th.
The Islamic Society wants to shut them up and shut them down and they have plenty of dirty money to do it.
If not for The David Project I would know nothing of the atrocities of Darfur, Sudan, Mauratania.
If not for The David Project, we would not have seen first hand the now famous documentary "Columbia Unbecoming"
Jewish students on American college campuses are facing an onslaught of anti-Israel campaigns and propaganda. We at The David Project have documented this in the now famous documentary film taking place at Columbia University, where students were harassed and intimidated in and outside of class by anti-Israel faculty. Clearly, Jewish college students need to be prepared for what they may face on their campuses.columbiaunbecoming.com (WATCH THE VIDEO!)
I attended their lecture on Sudan and Darfur. Ex Slaves, Simon Dang and Fahoud Saleh (fromSudan and Dafur respectively), spoke of the horrors and atrocities foisted upon all of non-muslims that refuse to "islamify"in those nations.
Listening to their histories was harrowing. Simon Dang, enslaved by Arabs in the Sudan is a persecuted Christian. Slavery is commonplace among non-muslims. The Arab government
"declared JIHAD on Infidels. In my country BEING BLACK IS BEING A SLAVE. Sudan is an Arab country, member of the Arab league. where hundreds of thousands of people are enslaved today. We are part of the Middle East even if geographically we are in Africa. Bin Laden established his terrorist network in the Sudan." Is it any surprise? The man from Darfur was just as bare and stark. "In Darfur, 900,000 people have been slaughtered by genocide (since the onslaught in 1994)". The only people to come to our aid is the "Jewish people. They have been the only ones, and they do all they can".
STATEMENT OF THE DAVID PROJECT
The following is the statement of The David
Project, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to
promote a fair and honest discussion of the Middle East
conflict, in response to the lawsuit that has been initiated
against it and against one of its employees today by the
Islamic Society of Boston:
There is a serious body of well-documented evidence that various individuals who have been affiliated and directly involved with the Islamic Society of Boston ("ISB") have defended acts of terrorism, and have publicly engaged in the worst sort of anti-Semitic and other hate speech. The David Project is one of many organizations and citizens that have asked questions about that very troubling evidence, and that have sought answers to those questions.
It would have been hoped that the ISB would provide those answers. Instead, the ISB has chosen a different course, one apparently designed not only to avoid answering those questions but to stop people from asking them.
Backed by what appears to be unlimited financial support from unknown funders, the ISB has initiated a lawsuit against citizens and organizations that had the temerity to raise concerns that the ISB and others would prefer not to have raised. The ISB lawsuit apparently seeks to punish those citizens and organizations for raising these issues, and to discourage others from doing so.
The ISB lawsuit is an ugly and obvious attempt to bully American citizens into not exercising their fundamental First Amendment rights: the right to engage in free speech, the right to express views to governmental bodies about important public policy issues, and the right to communicate with other citizens. The ISB appears to hope that in forcing these citizens to spend many tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees defending themselves, it will frighten others out of exercising their own First Amendment rights, which all Americans hold dear.
"No one who cares about the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment to express concerns, to ask questions and to comment on issues of public policy, can view the ISB lawsuit as anything other than an assault on the First Amendment", said the President of The David Project, Dr. Charles Jacobs. "We do not intend to be intimidated, and do not believe others will be."
The David Project expects that the Massachusetts courts will find that the ISB claims against it and one of its employees will be found to be factually and legally frivolous, and will be dismissed. In the meantime, it will refrain from commenting directly on the lawsuit. Inquiries should be directed to its counsel, Jeffrey Robbins, at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo P.C., at 617-542-6000.

UPDATE: More Muslim Suppression
Harper pulls photo exhibit upon Muslim protest
An art exhibit that included photographs of nude Muslim women wearing only a head covering was taken down Thursday afternoon just hours after opening for public viewing at Harper College in Palatine.

Wow, what power! Remember how the left went berserk when Giuliani protested the following art exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum
artist Chris Ofili's work titled "The Holy Virgin Mary;" it is this work -- a depiction of a black Madonna adorned with elephant shit and sexually-explicit photos -- that was deemed by New York's Mayor Rudolph Giuliani "anti-Catholic."
Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is pledging to cut $7 million in city funds if Brooklyn Museum goes ahead with the show, "Sensation: Young British Artists From the Saatchi Collection," set to open October 2. The exhibition includes a depiction of Mary along with shellacked clumps of elephant dung and two dozen cutouts of buttocks from pornographic magazines. The first lady doesn't think the City of New York has the right to pull funding from a Brooklyn art exhibition for displaying such "artwork" and Norman Siegel asserts that Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's threat to cut funding to the exhibition violates the First Amendment.
There are actually two separate issues at play here. One, is whether
such art, offensive or not, must be paid for with tax dollars. Secondly, people
are quick to jump to defend a depiction of the Virgin Mary covered in elephant
dung, but would they be as quick to defend other types of "art"
Needless to say, Giuliani needed Muslim power. Because the desecrated Mother Mary exhibit stayed up but the offensive Muslim art show came right down.

Several students say the pieces — some showing young Muslim men with machine guns — were downright offensive.
“I think they should rip this down,” student Matt George said.
Another student, Hussein Ali, says a number of Muslim students at Harper now are thinking about leaving.
“The Muslim students are thinking about boycotting Harper because of this,” said Ali, 23, of Schaumburg.
Ahmad Basalat, 21, of Bartlett said the exhibit expressed hatred toward Muslims.
Rich Johnson, co-coordinator of international students at Harper, said the exhibit was an event put on in conjunction with the college’s art department.
The school invited Chicago photographer Amir Normandi to exhibit his works depicting Muslim women in Iran defying the wearing of the jilbab.
Johnson said he thought the exhibit would be an interesting topic because it deals with human rights.
Salma Habed, 20, of Hoffman Estates said some of the pieces continued with the stereotype that Muslim women are oppressed.
“We go to school. We have careers. It’s not like we’re oppressed like some people feel for some reason,” Habed said.
Before the opening of the exhibit, neither Johnson nor other Harper officials had an opportunity to view the images.
Johnson and school officials ordered the removal or covering of the images until further notice because of the uproar.
“It was not the show that we thought we were going to get,” Johnson said, adding that he stands by Normandi’s artistic freedom.
Johnson said the exhibit was to have been included as a part of other events dealing with human rights issues in Iran.
“We struck a reasonable compromise that we will temporarily cover the images,” Johnson said.
College spokesman Phil Burdick said he understands why the students are offended, but freedom of expression comes into play.
“This exhibit is not the type of artwork that the college endorses or advocates,” Burdick said. “If this exhibit offends the sensibilities of any person or ethnic group, we deeply apologize.”
Burdick said the school will convene a meeting with students, the two faculty members involved — including Johnson — the artist and the college staff.

Thank you for bringing this up! It seems like even a good part of the Conservative establishment are trying to bend over backwards not to offend muslims.
I am from Sweden originally, lived in Denmark for a few years before coming here to America three years ago. My decision to move here was in part driven by the evil behind the 9/11 attacks. America is the beacon of freedom in the world, especially after Europe surrendered itself to postmodern collectivism and never recovered. I had the privilege of growing up in a relatively free and prosperous country, thanks only to the incredible sacrifice and bravery of millions of American soldiers, and trillions of American tax dollars.
Since the end of the Cold War, Europe has degenerated and turned its back on its greatest supporter and benefactor, pandering instead to intolerance and authoritarianism. If America is also poisoned by the same vicious intellectual venom, there will be nobody left to defend the crown jewel of human civilization: Western Freedom.
Thanks again for your incredible work! I will be checking in with your blog daily from hereon.

What I think a lot of americans don't realize is that it won't be just the Jewish nation that the freak muslims wipe out ... it'll just be the first. Then the Christians, Hindus, Pagans and on and on.
It's ironic the muslim community is so worried about retribution for the acts of a few. If the overwhelming majority of Muslims do not subscribe to the views of the Muslim extremists - then where is the outcry against the extremist freaks? There seems to be a quiet acquiescence in the Muslim community.

Hi Sven,
The American educational system is predominantly infested with educators professing the liberal ideology. Entertainment is another source of this infestation. It all comes together with the mainstream media displaying bias analysis of news and painting a picture of the news as they would like it to be. Now through the ACLU the liberal/socialist ideology is allowed to disseminate protective legal services. Because of this we have an all out assault on the minds of the youth of America. This is a well funded strategic objective.
Europe is discovering that a socialist government may not work. Yet the European citizens have grown to expect the benefits. With aid handouts diminishing and Europe being expected to toe its own financial weight a political revolution is in the future for Europe. If it doesn’t first succumb to its immigration failures!
The politically correct America does in fact need to wake to heck up. Or it will be burning like Paris very soon.

Atlas, what is your definition of radical Islam? What defines an Islam that is not radical? Is not Islam in general intolerant of all non-Moslems thus rendering Islam as an ideology that is radical to all non-Moslems. How long before people make the association that radical and Islam are one and the same?

I've heard from a good source that the largest group of people emigrating to Israel are from France. People are starting to get it.

DocDave,
My definition of Islam and Radical Islam is observant and non-observant.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but the Muslims being murdered by their Radical Islamic brethern are the moderates. And believe me DocDave there are a great many Muslims being murdered by extremists. Not by accident either.
