"The World Without Zionism"

What is the message they are trying to send?

Death_to_isarel_and_america_2
Yes, that is the USA already at the bottom of the hourglass.

But notice that the USA is already broken in the bottom of the hourglass prior to the fall of Israel.

"Very Soon, This Stain of Disgrace [i.e. Israel] Will Vanish from the Center of the Islamic World - and This is Attainable"

MEMRI.org has the entire speech translated.

The following is from REGIME CHANGE IRAN:
If you follow the news you may have seen this picture, of Iran's President Ahmadinejad speaking at the "World Without Zionism" conference where he spoke of wiping "Israel off the map."
But in this photo you can only see a portion of the graphic. The rest of the graphic speaks a thousand words.

The Iranian government produced sophisticated visual props for this important speech, designed to send a message to the USA and the English speaking world. Those who produced this graphic were sophisticated enough to know that it would provide a great photo op.

For some reason the world media has largely ignored his statements against the USA. In his speech he said:

We are in the process of an historical war between the World of Arrogance [i.e. the West] and the Islamic world, and this war has been going on for hundreds of years. ...

The issue of this [World without Zionism] conference is very valuable. In this very grave war, many people are trying to scatter grains of desperation and hopelessness regarding the struggle between the Islamic world and the front of the infidels ...

Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism? But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are attainable, and surely can be achieved...

Go over to Regime Change and read it all here

And while Iranian president said recognizing Israel means defeat of the Islamic world, oppressed Iranian dissident students protest against Iranian nuclear threats (AP)

The Dhimmicraps have been wildly successful at distracting the American people with utterWhosonfirstbudandlou_4 nonsense (even the Libby indictment over a crime that was never committed is something of a joke - consider the historical of impact.
I mean really..........there was no crime. The objective oof the investigation "the outing of a spy" never happened> Never happened. So what did it come down to.

who told who first uh................he told him last uh..............

"who's on first
what's on second
I dont know's on third"

Those who doubt Iran's seriousness should look at what happened to the French after their inaction during the Sitzkrieg period between September, 1939 and May 9, 1940.

War had been declared, yet France, with the world's largest army, failed to mobilize in a concerted way and instead its politicians continued to engage in scandalmongering and political backbiting, almost ignoring the threat. As a result, the Nazis overran their country in about six weeks.

Anybody who believes the Islamists have different plans for us must be living on another planet.

The Democrats are like the corrupt French politicians during the Sitzkrieg of 1939-1940.

The enemy is at the gates, and all they can think of is scandal mongering and the next election.

The post so nice, I made it twice. Sorry about clogging up your comments, Atlas.

A good post ruined by the screed at the end.

There are many people who would back an attack on Iran, but feel the current administration is too incompetent and corrupt to pull it off.

Sure, Monkeyboy, the administration's corrupt. Cite me ONE bit of evidence to that effect. That is, one verifiable FACT; not just "feelings" or opinion about it. Cite one FACT showing that anybody in the Bush administration has profited from this war. That even one dollar has changed hands.

And don't say Halliburton; because if there were REALLY any evidence to support that drivel, the MSM would have been on it like flies. The truth is, the left has got NOTHING real against the administration or it wouldn't be crowing about Libby's indictment. If that's the best Fitzgerald could do in two years, then he and the FBI agents who conducted this investigation must be pretty sorry.

The only people I've seen who are demonstrably corrupt are those that opposed the administration. That is, Marc Rich, whom Bill Clinton mysteriously granted a full pardon, the UN -- including Kofi's own son -- France's former UN ambassador, George Galloway, the Russians the Germans, etc.

Funny how some of Bush's biggest critics have also turned out to be the biggest crooks when it came to having something to gain by Saddam staying in power. Yet the press and the liberals in this country -- other than Joe Lieberman and occasionally Carl Levin -- are silent.

Your comment merely proves my point that liberals think Republicans, not Islamists, are the enemy. You guys would rather lose a war than an election, and you're willing to say anything and do anything to accomplish that.

Generalizations like "corrupt" and "secretive" and "incompetent" are meaningless. If you've got real evidence other than an opinion about Bush, Cheney or anyone else, cite it. Otherwise, you're just flogging.

Look CM, I'm hardly a liberal.

If you want to say things are going so well in Iraq that we should do it all again in Iran, I suspect this plan would have support in the single-digit range in the U.S. Bush will need to do some serious house-cleaning to have a chance at winning support for an Iran invasion.

Let's leave all the no-bid contracts to Republican supporters aside and focus on the big issues:

1. The highest ranking U.S. Army officers wanted to go into Iraq with a force between 350,000-500,000 soldiers. These Generals were ignored and swept aside.

2. The original plan was to go into Iraq, spend 3 months taking over the country, put Chabali in charge, and pull out. Probably would have turned out better than things are now.

3. When we decided to stay, the plan was to put someone in charge who was respected around the world to run the show, instead we got L. Paul Bremmer and Ari Fleishers' brother...

It's a tough choice. Admit mistakes, get rid of Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. and have a chance at going into Iran.

or

Say everything is going great in Iraq and have no chance to go into Iran.

Blaming "liberals" and the "MSM" for falling support for Iraq will not help the case for Iran. Neither will saying a guy who knowingly used forged documents to get us to go into Iraq and then covered it up did nothing wrong...

I think Cheney and Rumsfeld did an extraordinary job. By what yardstick are we to measure the results of this war which, as has been pointed out, we won so swiftly and with such little loss of life that the targets hardly felt the sting of defeat?

And, as has also been pointed out, how is it a "defeat," except in the minds of liberals and the press, that the "insurgents" have been reduced to blowing up their own people?

Even the densest of Arafat's gangster disciples would have fallen away sooner or later if he started targeting THEM with walking mines or car bombs.

The Generals wanted that many troops to handle Iraq after we crushed any resistance, CM.

Just curious, out of 100 Senators, how many do you think would vote to authorize the use of military force against Iran? I'd guess maybe 20 at the most.

Or are you suggesting that Bush pull a Nixon and head into Iran without Congressional approval?

HMM,
I hear the runble of GE turbines in Knob Noster MO. This will be our short term fix for the Iranian problem. The sooner the better.

Sh*t, Monkeytoy is your typical liberal oral job…debates the unpopular side of an argument whether there is any bearing or truth to the vile diatribe he is able to muster. To be concerned that monkeytoy would want to debate the government being corrupt is a silly idea, the most effective ingredient to toys post is that there are many people that would like an attack on Iran. You see, he baited you into his demented world.
Now keep in mind, toy (or is it tool, I think it is monkeytool) is not a liberal, he is a paleoconsevative. A money follower! Not concerned about a cause or about the welfare of others, only money. Tool doesn’t seem to concerned with going broke, and uses “Us” and “We”when discussing the United States. Sounds very much like a dhimmicrud liberal. But this vile morph calls itself a paleoconservative. I feel anti-American is all I need to know about the M-tool.
Since this got buried and went unanswered I thought I would resurrect it here. Seems important in this Iran discussion. Never underestimate the power of Israel if the United States doesn’t hold them back…..
If only it were a few fanatical Islamics preaching the fall of infidels there could still be some bearing to the Religion of Peace. But the fact that these Global Islamics in leadership roles do not denounce the heinous activities of the Fanatical Islamics indicates not only an agreement with the fanatical Islamics message but also collusion in their activities.
In Indonesia (current) and Bangladesh (past) it was the Islamics eradicating Hindu and Christian people and cultures. In Darfur it is Islam eradicating Christian and Black African people and cultures. Not mentioning Europe and the Middle East in this equation there have been millions murdered, raped, butchered, displaced, culturally and financially ruined. This is a very short list of ongoing atrocities, genocide and cultural demise being perpetrated by the Religion of Peace.
9/11 occurred because after a sequence of terrorist acts towards the United States the government sat on its hands and did nothing. These gestures of submissive approval led to the empowerment of terrorists to feel the United States is ripe for the picking. You don’t think the lying MSM is giving the Iranian President that same false feeling of submissive security empowering his most recent rants do you?
The strategic importance of Iraq and Afghanistan should be clear to anyone with a map.
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/middle_east_and_asia/middle_east_pol_2003.jpg
Irag is in the heart of the Middle East. What better place to set up a sequence of military positions (permanent structures courtesy of Haliburton Corporation)? Considering the biggest military objective the terrorist can pull off is a car bomb or an IED you do have to wonder what their leadership is thinking.
With wantabe nuclear power Iran calling for the annihilation of the United States and Israel and the rest of the Global Islamics concurring or silently resolved to collusion find Iraq and Afghanistan make for a nice flank sandwich. With the Persian gulf and the Mediterranean Sea perfect settings for fleet positioning, Air bases in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Europe and fully equipped troops in permanent bases ready to launch on the ground , I feel a little more secure to a threat of Jihad than I might otherwise feel if the mainstream media and left wing loonies manages to get their wishes and remove the military from an offensive position against recently sworn enemies of the nation.
Recent history has proven that Islam is imperialistic and seeks to indoctrinate its culture and religion on all of the citizens of the globe, or bring them death.
Sitting by reading newspaper accounts and having total deniability that we must make a stand perhaps makes a safe and sound liberal feel good about themselves. Unfortunately, that comfort to sit and judge comes from the blood of patriots defending that freedom. The same people they wish to disparage.
The strategic position, and a country history remembers for dropping nuclear weapons into populated areas, I feel a little safer knowing bullets and bombs speak louder than moonbats.
Make no mistake about it, once the walls of diplomacy fail, God help the sorry bastards that wish jihad against the United States, and more fearful they should be, should Israel take matters into their hands.

Billmil -

Would that be Whiteman AFB outside of Knob Noster? Never heard of it before, thanks for the chuckle :)

Sizzle -

Ya got me. I do look at the costs.

Do we still have planes in Saudi Arabia? I thought we pulled everyone out in 2003.

One downside you guys may not have considered in getting "strict constructionalists" on the Supreme Court:

These guys feel that only Congress can declare wars, and Presidents attacking enemies without Congressional approval has happened only because of "judicial activism."

With Chief Justice Roberts running things now, Bush is gonna need a vote in Congress before he can do anything about Iran...

Sizzle,
Yes that would be Whiteman AFB home of the Spirit.
Even though I've been retired for 4 years I try to keep up with what the AF is doing. From online sources the Spirit can be forward deployed to RAF Fairford, Anderson AFB Guam and Diego Garcia,
We did pull all A/C out of Prince Sultan AB Saudi Arabia and the USAF assets moved Al Udeid AB in Qatar, I’m sure no tears were shed with this move. I personally deployed on a few Southern Watch rotations, this is when we were still at King Abdul Aziz AB in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Politeness keeps me from talking too much about the Saudi AF. But if it were not for the expatriates working for DynCorp and British Aerospace it is safe to say that their F-15 and Tornado fleet could not fly.

Billmil, thank you for your service...
Monkeytool, codepink and other anti-American groups don't select congress. Sh#t, they don't even have candidates to follow behind. They like most of the young impressionable people that anti-America groups recruit don’t vote. These are the loud noises we here from the media. Noises from anti-Americans without candidates and without votes! The 2004 election kinda proved that.
Now with the Iran President calling for our annihilation and doing so in gala hitleresque fanfare those of us that do vote will try to influence congress to protect our assets!
Looks like our anti-nuclear diplomacy with Iran may fall short when dealing with someone who openly would like to annihilate us (us being pro American Americans).
But to understand the power of a tried and true ally, should there be a political glitch in preventing the Iran nuclear program from moving forward. I bet our ally in the Middle East would be quite capable of justifying the use of and using nuclear weapons on enemies calling for their annihilation.

Ahmadinejad talks a good game, but is going to wind up in a cage. His time is coming.

Hell's Bells, let's just do like N. B. F. and ride in and kick ass. I'm tired of this namby pamby male bovine excrement. As the old saying goes, "Kill them all and let God sort it out!"

We went into Germany, toppled a goverment and STAYED for the next 70 years. Worked pretty well there. I say stay in Iraq! Good place for a base. Why would we want to bring the military home? Who are they going to fight here? I spent 20 years in the US military. Very little of it spent on our own shores. What's the point? If it gets dangerous for police officers to be in Detroit, shall we call them home too? Is it dangerous for a highway worker to be on a highway or a coal miner to be in a coal mine? Maybe we sould call 'them' home. STAY in IRAQ. Establish a base or 6 and take care of business in the area.

Ayn Rand at 100: "Yours is the Glory"

  • Aynrandstamp_1

  • Speaking to the unnamed, unchampioned, beating heart of her new land, Ayn was to say: 'Yours is the glory.'"
A man whose ability and independence leads others to reject him, but who perseveres nevertheless to achieve his values. Man as an individual, as a creator. What's the most depraved type of human being? Not a sadist or a murderer or a sex maniac or a dictator; "The man without a purpose." Yet most people seem to go through their lives without a clearly defined purpose.

  • Life has Loveliness to sell,
    All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fires that sways and swing,
    And children's faces looking up,
    Holding wonder like a cup

    Life has Loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of Gold,
Scent of pinetrees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight,
Holy stars that star the night.

Spend all you have for loveliness,
    Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of Peace
Count many a year of strife well lost
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.
