I had such a fucking blast......where to begin? First off to the hostess nonparallel, Skippy Moment. She is the Elsa Maxwell of of LGF. So elegant, hysterical, fun, sentimental, delicious was the Friday night dinner, it is beyond my words, and we owed to all to Havoc -what a mighty mighty man(very elegant) and to Skippy. She thought of everything from the little green lizards and G-d bless America window transparencies and to Havoc. Havoc, who brought bags of lizards as awards for "people that came the furthest"
.......ahem that one was mine, to the person that worked that hardest. etc. North Carolina girl and her Flyboy were magnificent, funkay and family.
GENUINE. She is my girl and we must have been seperated at birth. Jheka - I adore though it is my inclination to kick the shit out of him, Polly Prissy who picked me out of the airport straightaway and never left my side is the best human being I have met since Bonnie died. She is golden. Iron Fist is well..........exactly that Iron Fist Giant Heart. He patched us all up, provided the requisite protection and was loved by all.Lizard by the Bay was there too, he is too good, too smart for that town. Winds of Change, dear sweet Dianna, Bob's kid and her handsome kid (!) the phantom swooping outlaw, Dasher/ Flygirl ... I forget the nics know the names but won't reveal all, but there were 30 of the most fabulous people I had the good fortune to meet. So happy I went even if my gorgeous bracelet went down the airplane toilet. The only thing more delicious than the food was the conversation, the yelping, hollerin, and backslapping.
The following night onto Biscuit and Blues where Skippy, Queen of the Good Time, booked a blues show (got Roy Gaines CD, signed "Pamela You are the Bomb, Roy -HA!). And we danced ......yeah yeah..............Mick the Mick, quiet -but on that dance floor Mick Jagger would pale.........and Jheka? well Jheka made my night. It was the most thrilling time
(that's me and Mick the Mick dancing).
Missed Al Alwd forgive me, but I couldnt leave..........it was all just too too much.
