It's Too Damn HOT! Too Damn Hot........Call off those Ruskies

So what exactly is it going to be to take the gloves off? Random killing of jews for bloodsport is one thing, one thing the world cares little about i might add........but NUKES! Russia just sold Iran a ton of Humanity exterminator.

Russia will start supplying nuclear fuel to Iran, in the amount of roughly 100 tons, approximately six months before its atomic energy plant is commissioned late next year, the ITAR-Tass news agency reported Monday, citing Russian Atomic Energy Minister Alexander Rumyantsev.

Rumyantsev and Iranian Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadehm, who is also the Iranian nuclear agency chief, signed a nuclear fuel agreement Sunday in Bushehr, Iran, site of the US$800 million Russian-built plant.

Angel Decoy- Air Force C130 RARELY SEEN!

ANGEL DECOY

These are photos of an Air Force C-130 releasing flares to repel heat seeking Missiles. The pattern formed by these "decoys" are how they got their name . . . . . Angel de! coy. It's awe-inspiring.

Maneuvers are  usually in remote areas and over water, therefore the general public does  not get to view these exercises.
Hat tip: Dr John, Navy Doc

Remember I said 100,000 is the going rate Hizbollah pays for Jew Killing? Here's more PROOF

I will ask until I am dead...............when is this moral inversion going to stop? When is it going to be ok to stop killing jews? People wake up, wha are we waiting for 9/12?
Hezbollah paid up to $100,000 for attack

  • Palestinians finger Lebanese terror group in Tel Aviv bombing
  • TEL AVIV – The suicide bombing here Friday night that killed four Israelis and wounded over 50 was funded and directed by Hezbollah forces, which may have paid up to $100,000 for the attack, security sources told WorldNetDaily.
The three main terror groups – Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades – denied involvement much the way Moe Larry and Curly denied hooliganizing.

I first Posted this on the 2/16

While the UN goes about it daily business of rape, robbery and pillaging, the bloodlibel reward for murder goes unnoticed. And if that werent enough, even the French refuse to classify Hizbullah as a terrorist organiztion. Ellsworth Toohey, your legacy is very much alive

And who is giving Hizbullah all this dough?

Hizbullah Lifts Pay for Suicide Attacks to $100,000

    Defense/Security

The Lebanon-based Hizbullah terror organization has announced that it is raising the compensation it pays out to families of suicide attackers from $20,000 to $100,000.
Bank transfers and e-mail intercepted from the organization by they PA reveal this new development, reports Arutz-7's Haggai Huberman.

Senior officials of PA armed forces claim that Hizbullah presents the number one threat to the ceasefire currently in effect. The Lebanese group is attempting to enlist terrorists from the Fatah organization, the main governing party in the PA, and from Fatah offshoots such as the Al Aksa Brigades. The latter is closely aligned with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, and is responsible for the murder of hundreds of Jews since the outbreak of the Oslo War in September 2000.

Israeli officials, too, report that there are currently some 50 Hizbullah-sponsored terrorist cells throughout Judea and Samaria.

Woo Hoo - Mrs Israel Crowned Mrs. World...I'm lovin it!

Finally I agree with the judges! She is gorgeous isnt she? In more ways then one!!!

Earth to RANGEL: Increase your Meds

"To call it Islamic terror is discriminating, it's bigoted, it is not the right thing to say. ... We just take for granted that there is an Islamic terror movement because we do have some fanatic people who come from Islamic countries. ... When we had the Ku Klux Klan we didn't call them Baptist terrorists. When Hitler was killing Jews, we didn't call it Christian terrorists." --Rep. Charlie Rangel when asked why France refuses to designate Hezbollah as an Islamic terror group

These kind of leftoid remarks sound completely irrational but are the lynchpin of the Democrat's argument.  BTW this clipping is from 1909........dont cha love it?

Repeat Verse, Same as the First.......Killing Jews really an attack on Abbas

UGH....................i cannot stand listening to the propaganda that the world press has so brilliantly effected. Yesterday, Islamic Jihad, or Al Aksa or whoever (they change names like I change La Perla) got off a suicide bomb in Tel Aviv outside a nightclub of teenagers. TEENAGERS! Think about it. The subsequent spin is as follows (this from the LA TIMES)

Leading militant groups denied responsibility and Palestinian officials immediately condemned the attack, the first of its kind in nearly four months, calling it a strike against "the interests of the Palestinian people." Israel demanded that the Palestinian Authority and its newly installed government take stronger action against militants to demonstrate their commitment to ending such attacks. It is always everything but what it is. Killing jews killing jews. Not an attack against Abbas, not an attack against the Peace (euphemism) process, old fashioned Jew Killing. Please pray for the 30 young people so severely unjured........and pray that Bush does not contribute to this moral inversion.....................

The Very Best Definition of a Contemporary Liberal

The Patriot Post Blog  has  great piece on liberalism (click headline) but best is this:

Liberals are almost uniformly defined by their hypocrisy and dissociation  from reality. For example, the wealthiest U.S. senators -- among them Kerry, Kennedy, Corzine, Kohl, Rockefeller, Feinstein, and Rhode Island RINO Lincoln Chaffee -- fancy themselves as fighters for the poor, but they have no idea of what it's like to live paycheck-to-paycheck. Liberals speak of unity, but they appeal to the worst in human nature by dividing Americans into dependent constituencies. Just who are these liberal constituencies? They support freedom  of thought, unless your thoughts don't comport with theirs. They feign tolerance  while practicing intolerance. They resist open discussion and debate of their  views, yet seek to silence dissenters. They insist that they care more about protecting habitat than those who hunt and fish. They protest for nature conservation while advocating homosexuality. They denounce capital punishment for the most heinous of criminals, while ardently supporting the killing of the most innocent among us -- children prior to birth. They hate private-gun ownership, but they wink and nod when it comes to WMD in the hands of tyrants. They advocate for big government but want to restrain free enterprise.

Liberals constantly assert their First Amendment rights, except, of course, when it comes to religion. Here, they firmly adhere to the doctrines of secular atheism. They believe that second-hand smoke is more dangerous than marijuana  smoke. They believe that one nut accused of bombing an Alabama abortion clinic deserves far more law-enforcement attention than Jihadi cells planning the 9/11 attacks. They call 9/11 victims "Hitlerian" while calling their murderers  "oppressed." They hate SUVs, unless imported and driven by soccer moms. They believe trial lawyers save lives and doctors kill people. They believe the solution to racism is to treat people differently on the basis of their skin color. They deride moral clarity because they can't survive its scrutiny. They promote peace but foment division and hate -- ad infinitum.

Would they EVER write about Hillary this way?

Washington Post fashion editor Robin Givhan writes admiringly of the outfit Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice wore in Germany Wednesday:
She was wearing a black skirt that hit just above the knee, and it was topped with a black coat that fell to mid-calf. . . .
Rice's coat and boots speak of sex and power--such a volatile combination, and one that in political circles rarely leads to anything but scandal. When looking at the image of Rice in Wiesbaden, the mind searches for ways to put it all into context. It turns to fiction, to caricature. To shadowy daydreams. Dominatrix! It is as though sex and power can only co-exist in a fantasy. When a woman combines them in the real world, stubborn stereotypes have her power devolving into a form that is purely sexual. . . .
Countless essays and books have been written about the erotic nature of high heels. There is no need to reiterate in detail the reasons why so many women swear by uncomfortable three-inch heels and why so many men are happy that they do. Heels change the way a woman walks, forcing her hips to sway. They alter her posture in myriad enticing ways, all of which are politically incorrect to discuss.
But the sexual frisson in Rice's look also comes from the tension of a woman dressed in vaguely masculine attire--that is, the long, military-inspired jacket. ..............I find this disgusting. Would the LLL ever refer to Hillary or any of their femmes in such a denigrating, demeaning fashion.........................all part of the chip chip chipping away the MSM continues to do on a daily basis debasing our greatest leaders.

The VILLAGE IDIOT is ACTUALLY the Mayor of NYC and a "Republican"

This story sickens me. Under the auspices of "FREE SPEECH" Mayor Bloomberg of the Great city (MY city), that took the blow of the most heinous attack on US soil, 9/11, defends the ugly hate mail students at a Park Slope school wrote to GIs overseas. Here is the original post of the hate mail (click).
Mr. Bloomberg, this is not freedom of speech. You have a problem with the war? These kids have a problem with the war?The teacher has a problem with the war? Take it up with your congressman, senator, or even better your commander-in-chief. These fine young people are over there under orders. They did not make the decision to take up arms. They are serving their country brilliantly, bravely and to protect the very rights of a Wart Mosquehill (link) to spew his vomit.
Bloomberg is a fool and a coward. I hang my head in shame

    Bloomberg Defends Troop-Trashing Letters

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is defending letters sent to an Iraq-bound GI by a sixth-grade class in Brooklyn that trashed America's military heros as war criminals.

Asked about the letters on Tuesday, the liberal Republican explained, "Well, look, we have freedom of speech and you certainly cannot go around censoring what people want to write."

Bloomberg's defense came just hours before the teacher who supervised the project, Alex Kunhardt, offered a full public apology to Pfc. Rob Jacobs, who received the toxic diatribes last month while awaiting deployment in South Korea.

"I deeply regret that any letters from my class offended anyone in our military," Kunhardt said late yesterday. "The responsibility for this action is mine alone, and I apologize."

Others accused Jacobs' colleagues of "killing innocent people" and "destroying holy places like mosques."

Bloomberg argued that the GIs would actually appreciate the derogatory screeds, explaining, "Most of them believe that the freedoms that we have, like the freedoms to write critical letters, are protected by them putting their lives at risk."

For his part, Jacobs' father, Robert, said he was satisfied with Kunhardt's apology, but that the mayor's comments left a lot to be desired.

Appearing on "Fox and Friends" Wednesday morning, Jacobs Sr. said, "Unfortunately, it looks like, for the mayor, political expediency."

He said Bloomberg appeared to be siding with the parents of Kunhardt's students, who will vote in his re-election bid later this year, instead of his son, "a kid from New Jersey [stationed] on the other side of the world."

DO THESE GUYS DESERVE THOSE LETTERS? CLICK HERE!

Despite New Radical Iraqi leader,My Money is on the Broads in the Burka

While some of us were disheartened by the Dawa's election victory in Iraq - it's official positions — especially on the status of women, freedom of expression and the mosque-state relationship — are in contradiction with the democratic principles of the interim constitution under which Jaafari was elected.

The fact is can we really expect Iraq to be transformed into a religious dictatorship under an Islamist slogan of "one man, one vote, once"? The United Iraqi Alliance, the Shiite-led coalition that won picked its most openly religious leader as its nominee for the premiership. The alliance has many leaders of prime ministerial caliber, such as Hussein Shahrestani, Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Ahmed Chalabi. And yet each withdrew in favor of Jaafari.

To be sure, even the freest and fairest elections can produce dangerous results — witness Hitler's rise to power. Nevertheless, it would be wrong to see Jaafari's nomination as the first major setback for Iraq's nascent democracy. I agree with The New York Post that the fact that Jaafari was chosen as a compromise candidate shows that the largely secular leadership of the United Iraqi Alliance did not see him as a threat to the process of democratization. And the fact that Grand Ayatollah Ali-Muhammad Sistani, the primus inter pares of Shiite clerics, has not opposed the nomination is a sure sign that Jaafari has distanced himself from his party's most questionable positions

and while all this does not bode well, I find the followin MOST ENCOURAGING NEWS The  Unheralded Revolution in Iraq - Jim Hoagland Nearly one-third of the 140 winning candidates on the Shiite parliamentary list are women. Moreover, those 45 women tend to be more educated, better informed, and more committed to change than are their male counterparts. Overall, 31% of Iraq's newly elected 275 parliamentarians are women. The example they have set cannot be lost on Arab women at large. (Washington Post)

Get your Hand Outta my Wallet, Young Man

How may times do free market economists have to be right before we get it right?
Singapore is home to one of the world’s freest economies. That home is about to be a bit sweeter, thanks to a new budget that includes cuts in personal income taxes.Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced Friday that the upcoming Singapore budget will have a provision that cuts the top personal income tax rate to 20 percent over two years. The rate is currently 22 percent. The current 22 percent rate is certainly not punitive. But 20 percent is an improvement, not only in moral terms — people get to keep more of what is theirs — but also in terms of how the tax cut will spur even more investment in the city-state. Although too many lawmakers in the U.S. Congress don’t believe it, increased investment that is driven by tax cuts is a boost for an economy: more jobs, higher wages and an upsurge in consumer spending.

And in Buffalo New  York (of all BLUE states)
Dan Mitchell of the WSJ online Journal wrote:New York taxpayers revolt.
The Wall Street Journal chronicles a tax revolt in upstate New York. Buffalo taxpayers are saying no to a proposal to boost the sales tax to more than 9 percent - even though local politicians claimed that they would have to cut back on snow-plowing if the County's already bloated budget was not allowed to grow even fatter. Fortunately, this attempt to extort more money failed.........................whew

I love this woman, if i were not a woman and notoriously heterosexual (in passion NOT PROMISCUITY) - I'd marry her.

Blogger Charles Johnson reports that Rep. Maurice Hinchey of upstate New York put it forward at a weekend community forum in Ithaca. Here's my favorite excerpt from that very transcript:
Hinchey: They've had a very very direct, aggressive attack on the, on the media, and the way it's handled. Probably the most flagrant example of that is the way they set up Dan Rather. Now, I mean, I have my own beliefs about how that happened: It originated with Karl Rove, in my belief, in the White House. They set that up with those false papers.

Audience member: So you have evidence that the papers came from the Bush administration?
      Hinchey: No. I--that's my belief.
      Audience member: OK.
Hinchey: And I said that. In the very beginning. I said, "It's my belief that those papers, and that setup, originated with Karl Rove and the White House."
Audience member: Don't you think it's irresponsible to make charges like that?
Hinchey: No I don't. I think it's very important to make charges like that. I think it's very important to combat this kind of activity in every way that you can. And I'm willing--and most people are not--to step forward in situations like this and take risks.
      Audience: [clapping and cheering]
Hinchey: I consider that to be part of my job, and I'm gonna continue to do it. [OY]

    Imprisoning Iraqi Bloggers

Reporters Without Borders reports that journalist and blogger Arash Sigarchi, of the blog Panhjareh Eltehab, has been arrested.

According to the group, Sigarchi was arrested on January 17, after responding to a summons from the intelligence ministry in the northern city of Rashat. He has been held at Rashat's Lakan Prison where he has been denied the right to see a lawyer and bail has been set at 200 million rials (about $25,000 U.S.). The authorities have put pressure on his mother to deny that her son has been arrested.

His weblog had been banned by authorities in Iran for speaking out against recent arrests of cyberjournalists and bloggers (see below) and is inaccessible within the country. In addition to his blog, he is the editor of the daily Gylan Emroz. A few days before his arrest he was interviewed by two foreign radio stations, the BBC World Service and Radio Farda.

Jew Hatred infects the World Council of Churches

World Council of  Churches Gives Nod to Israeli Divestment Proposal
The central  committee of the World Council of Churches on Monday commended the action of the  Presbyterian Church (USA) in initiating a process of phased, selective  divestment from multinational corporations involved in Israel, noting: "This  action is commendable in both method and manner, uses criteria rooted in faith,  and calls members to 'do the things that make for peace.'" It encouraged the  WCC's 347 member churches "to give serious consideration to economic measures  that are equitable, transparent, and non-violent." Churches with investment  funds had "an opportunity to use those funds responsibly in support of peaceful  solutions to conflict," the WCC noted. "Economic pressure, appropriately and  openly applied, is one such means of action." (Episcopal News Service)

My take on this? First of all, many Presbyterians are using Christianity to cloak their antisemitism. As Jesus said, "By their acts (words) ye shall know them" so we know them. Because Christians can champion downtrodden peoples all over the globe like those poor South African raped children, child sex slavery, the child rape by the French UN peacekeeping forces in the Congo, the multimillion modern slaves in the Sudan and elsewhere, the starving in North Korea, the Arab women suffering from severe sharia laws, but no, they focus on the Palestinians. Why? It's not about the Palestinians, it's about sticking it to who they hate or are jealous of, the Jews or Israel. Like American liberals like Michael Moore...is it about the Jews or even the American downtrodden or sticking it to "daddy" the Republican administration or Israel. These people are transparent because where do you focus your limited energies?

But when I saw the Iraqi people  voting three weeks ago, 8 million of them, it was the start of a new Arab  world." Jumblatt says this spark of democratic revolt is spreading. WE MUST STOP THEM NOW!

ALERT: They're about to starve a disabled woman to death in Florida.
Out-of-control judges and greedy lawyers are set to remove the feeding tube from Terri Schindler-Schiavo this week. She's not brain dead, nor in a coma, nor on any life support system; she is simply severely handicapped. She laughs and cries and tries to talk with her parents.
And the judges and lawyers want to kill her.
WE MUST STOP THEM NOW. Barring some miracle, Governor Bush and the Florida legislators are our last hope to save Terri.
TAKE ACTION: They've tried to kill Terri several times before. Last time, in October 2003, enough grassroots momentum was generated to pass "Terri's Law," which saved Terri from death. Unfortunately, the liberal Supreme Court of Florida struck down "Terri's law," and she's in danger once again of being starved to death.
In the big picture, this battle could be a key turning point in ending the rule of judicial dictators in our country. If we as citizens will denounce this oppression, and Gov. Bush and the Florida legislature will again stand against these judicial tyrants, it could be a key moment in our history as a nation. We could look back and see that this was a key battle in restoring the rule of law and the right of self-government in America; that it was a team battle in breaking the stranglehold that the courts have on our lives, our laws, and our liberties.
But TIME IS RUNNING OUT for Terri. Click below now to tell the Governor, the Speaker of the Florida House, and the President of the Florida Senate to stand against judicial tyranny and act on Terri's behalf:

(If you live IN the state of Florida, go to http://www.rightmarch.com/terri2-fl.htm to help)
NOTE: The parents of Terri Schindler-Schiavo still need our financial help to fight this battle. They're holding press conferences, prayer vigils, traveling to meet with Gov. Bush and other leaders, and so much more. There are so many expenses in a case like this it is mind-boggling and overwhelming. Please give ASAP; the need is urgent now, and time is critical:

Recently, the U.S. Supreme Court paved the way for the execution of Terri Schiavo, beginning today. She is the brain-damaged woman whose husband has been trying to starve and dehydrate her to death for years.
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush should have responded, "You better believe I'm not going to allow an innocent woman to be executed in the most cruel way imaginable in my state! We wouldn't do that to a dog, and I'm not about to let it happen to Terri Schiavo! No sir, not on my watch!"

Last-minute Court Order delays Schiavo Starvation

!An appeals court today paved the way for Michael Schiavo to remove the feeding tube keeping his severely brain-damaged wife alive, but a local judge followed with an emergency stay barring any action until tomorrow afternoon.
Schiavo is living with another woman with whom he has two children but refuses to give up guardianship of his wife, Terri, to her parents Robert and Mary Schindler.

Who are we to deny a family? Who are we to say the Terri Schindler-Schiavo is not enjoying her life in her capability. She is AWARE of her family. Seize the Opportunity for Palestinian Democratic Reforms - Interview with Natan Sharansky - Sam Ser (Jerusalem Post)
Q: What approach did you suggest the U.S. take on new PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas?Sharansky: If the U.S., Israel, and Europe say, "We will embrace you only if you embrace democratic reforms" - then you have a unique chance. But if the message will be, "Give us stability and then we'll talk," then I think it will be very difficult for him to bring about reforms.    If he does [institute reforms], he will have to fight terror, because the terrorists will resist all of it. But if he delays reform in order to fight terror, then he can have a cease-fire one day and allow terror the next.
Q: If the Palestinians were to create a liberal democracy, what concessions would you be willing to make?Sharansky: I think we have to start [to make concessions] long before they become a completely liberal democracy. But as of today, I think it would be a big mistake to dismantle even one settlement. We gave them Arafat's autonomy for free. We gave them recognition of a Palestinian state for free. And now we are giving them the disengagement for free.
As for my views on a Palestinian state, I'm still saying what I've said all along...that I'm willing to give the Palestinians every right except for the right to destroy me. And what's the only way to ensure that that won't happen? To demand that their state will be a democratic state, a state whose leaders are subject to the will of its citizens. Since 1993, we've gone further and further from that dream by endorsing a [Palestinian] fear society.
Now, we have a golden opportunity to bring about democratic reform because the one man who believes in that just happens to be the leader of the most powerful nation in the world. So I say, let's seize that opportunity. ...................................................Atlas says AMEN!

When I Asked Bat Ye'or what we should do, She said "LEARN EVERYTHING FIRST"

I say the same to the many that share my love, fear, and desire to save the free world. No I am not an alarmist, but my head is out of the sand. In order to fully understand the current world stage it is urgent we understand how we got there. The following is Tobin's review of Ye'or's brilliant analysis of the loss of Europe. READ IT and buy it off JWR (click on headline) they could use the money. I have no stake in any of it just that it is a MUST READ, you'll thank me big time.

Author paints dark tale of a cowardly continent on the run

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com A quarter-century ago, author Bat Ye'or set out to debunk the myth that Jews and other non-Muslim minorities enjoyed a golden age of freedom while living in countries under the sway of Islam. p> br />Her ground-breaking book, Dhimmi: Jews and Christians Under Islam, shined a spotlight on the plight of those who found themselves under Muslim rule. But after several other works that also focused on the concept of the dhimmi — the word used by Muslims to describe those who lived as their legal inferiors — the author has expanded her focus. (Click HERE to purchase. Sales help fund JWR.)

For Ye'or (a pen name), the question is no longer one of correcting the historical record about supposed golden ages of interfaith relations. Writing at a time of resurgent Islamic fundamentalism that embraces the concept of jihad, she sees the dhimmis as no longer just the marginalized non-Muslims living in Arab countries. Her main concern today is how contemporary Europe is itself being transformed into a dhimmi nation. p>

THE FUTURE OF ‘OLD EUROPE’ The result of her work on this question is a new book, Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis, and those who wonder about the future of what Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is fond of calling "old Europe" would do well to consult this dense, scholarly work.

A Jew who was born in Egypt and a subsequent immigrant to Britain, the author ultimately settled in Switzerland. From that vantage point, she has observed a sea change in European culture and politics, where anti-Semitism has gone mainstream and acquiescence to Islamic extremism is a given in foreign policy. Spend an hour talking about the situation with her, as I did this week, and you walk away with a grim vision of the future.

How did an Islamic world that was prostrate only a generation ago come to threaten the citadels of European culture?

Bat Ye'or starts her answer by pointing to the massive immigration from Asia and Africa that has created new demographic facts on the ground in Europe where, outside of the rapidly growing Muslim population, birth rates have declined precipitately.

But the crisis for Europe isn't just about the number of Muslim babies born there. For the historian, the trouble also lies in the way European elites have acquiesced to their nations' adoption of anti-American and anti-Israeli foreign policies.

The intensity of Judeophobia in Europe reflects Islamic influence," she says, an accusation that is backed up by evidence she compiles about the massive influx of anti-Jewish hate literature into the West along with the immigrants.

In her view, this has led to a process that is bringing about nothing less than the creation of a "new civilization" she calls Eurabia, a new entity built upon a platform of advocacy for the Palestinians, anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism/anti-Zionism, where the values of democracy and individual rights are under threat. p>

The creation of Eurabia is the coming together of a number of diverse factors. Combine the persistence of hatred for Jews on the far right, the animus of the left for Israel and America, and a general refusal to see the rise of Islamism as a threat — and what you get is a political and cultural snowball that is overwhelming the ability of the West to defend itself.

NOT AN ACCIDENT key point is that anti-Israel and anti-American strategies are not an accidental byproduct of the coming together of European and Arab elites. p>

Since the 1960s, the sacrifice of Israel has been a key to understanding the European Union's attitude toward the Arab world. Add to the mix traditional European resentment of the United States, and you have a recipe for appeasement of Arab demands not only on Israel, but on the fight against Islamic fundamentalism.

The Arab-Israeli conflict itself has been kept alive by a European strategy as a tool against America and to advance their influence in the Arab world," asserts the author. p>

BUY THE BOOK Purchasing "Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis" by clicking HERE helps fund JWR. It also makes a great gift!

Wrongly viewing Israel as the product of Europe's original sin of colonialism, rather than as the national liberation movement of the long-oppressed Jewish people, the continent's elites have "projected onto Israel all the evils of Europe." p>

Digging even deeper into the European psyche, Bat Ye'or sees a growing willingness to view European Christianity as more compatible with Islam than Judaism.

post Judeo-Christian Europe," she explains, is practicing an intellectual version of unilateral disarmament, pointing out that this has been promoted by official E.U. dialogue forums with Islamic thinkers. p>

As is the case here, academic institutions in Europe devoted to the study of Islam are soft-pedaling the threat. European intellectuals who are unwilling to stand up for Western values — and who sneer at America's mission of bringing democracy to the Arab world — are "abandoning resistance to jihad and dhimmitude," according to the author.

The inevitable result is a Europe that will, over the course of the next few decades, gradually fall more and more under the control of the Islamic world.

For Bat Ye'or, the only good news comes from the United States. She writes in her book's conclusion that America's policy toward the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and its war on Islamic terrorism has "crystallized within European societies an awareness and resistance of a policy of dhimmitude." An assertive America, undaunted by the siren song of European appeasement, has the chance to turn the tide of history.

But in light of the astounding growth of anti-Semitism and the feeble response of European governments to Islamic violence and threats directed at critics of Islam; the insistence of European governments on a policy of appeasement rather than confrontation of Iran's nuclear weapons programs; as well as their attempts to undermine American efforts in Iraq; and the author's alarmism seems not only well founded, but long overdue.

69% in US sympathize with Israel
69% in US sympathize with Israel
,JANINE ZACHARIA, THE JERUSALEM POST Feb. 20,
Sixty-nine percent of Americans have a favorable view of Israel, according to a new Gallup poll. The figure is 10 percentage points higher than it was in February 2004, but shy of the 79% who had a favorable of view of Israel during the 1991 Gulf War. Twenty-five percent of Americans said they had an unfavorable view of Israel.
A large majority of Americans - 62% - said they viewed the Palestinian Authority unfavorably. Twenty-seven percent said they had a favorable opinion of the PA, the highest recorded by Gallup since it began measuring the item in 2000.
Fifty-two percent of Americans said their sympathies were with Israel in the dispute with the Palestinians, while 18% said they were more sympathetic to the Palestinians.
The survey of 1,008 adults was conducted by phone in early February and had a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

BLOGBURST! Iranian Bloggers Imprisoned for Blogging

Call for blogburst. The Committee to Protect Bloggers is calling for tomorrow - February 22 - to be designated "Free Mojtaba and Arash Day" throughout the blogosphere. Mojtaba Saminejad and Arash Sigarchi are two Iranian bloggers who have been imprisoned by the mullahs for blogging. Think of this as a cyberversion of an Amnesty International letter-writing campaign (back in the days when Amnesty's cred wasn't in tatters). The goal is to shine a harsh spotlight of publicity on the Iranian government's repression of dissidents.More you can do.More on the recently increased repression of bloggers in Iran.

    A nuclear Pandora's box
    By
    Ze'ev Schiff
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy published its fifth report last FridayThe institute is known as pro-Israel and as one that seeks to nurture Israel-U.S. relations. Therefore, it is unusual that this time, Israeli officials made an effort to express their reservations about one of the important recommendations in the report, going so far as to call it an annoyance for Israel.
A committee of more than 40 experts and figures with various political positions prepares the report. The steering committee that prepared the latest one included, among others, Madeleine Albright, Alexander Haig, Samuel Berger, Newt Gingrich, Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Sam Lewis, Howard Berman, Mort Zuckerman and James Wolsey.
The suggestion that upset the senior Israeli officials appears in the chapter concerning the proliferation of nuclear weapons in the region, in the context of American policy toward Iran. The report's authors recommend that Israel examine a proposal to cease the production of fissionable materials used for the development of nuclear weapons, on the assumption that all the other states in the region will do the same
Official Israel is bothered by the proposal, first because its coming from an institute that is sympathetic to Israel and conducts a dialogue with its leaders could be interpreted to mean that Israel is somehow behind it. Secondly, at this stage of the international dispute with Iran over the nuclear issue, it is a mistake to turn Israel into part of the Iranian equation. In other words, it is a mistake to demand that Israel pay the price for an Iranian retreat from its military nuclear project, and in this way divert some of the international pressure on Iran to Israel as well. This is a Pandora's box that, if opened, could harm Israel. Due to the prevailing conditions of war, Israel has not signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT). The proposal to cease manufacturing fissionable material used for nuclear weapons will certainly require Israeli agreement to international inspections, which Israel is currently not obliged to allow because it is not an NPT signatory. Israel should oppose any attempt to include itself in the same package with the efforts to halt Iran's secret program, which violates the NPT, which it has signed

Ok let me understand this, they want Israel to allow anti-zionist, morally bankrupt international inspections of their nuclear facilities? To which malevolent end? Never Never Never I say

DECLARE WAR !Lebanese Prime Minister's ASSASSIN traveled thru SYRIA, IRAQ

There are key moments, when suddenly the truth becomes painfull, painfully clear. This assasisnation is such a moment. A Global epiphany. It is irrelevant why Syria is the architect behind the murder of a World Leader. I am not interested in the MESSAGE ASSAD IS SENDING TO HIS COMRAD IN ARMS, CHIRAC. The reality on the ground is this is an ACT OF WAR against democracy, a free nation and the BUSH DOCTRINE. BASTA! The time has come, WE TAKE OUT SYRIA. When Saddam invaded Kuwait we were right there. Why should this be different?

BEIRUT -- The assassin who killed former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri traveled
from Iraq through Syria to carry out the attack, according to the Beirut judge
leading the inquiry into the bombing. Rachid Mezher,
senior investigator for the Lebanese military tribunal, said the organizers had
been recruited from Islamist groups linked to Syria and operating against the
U.S.-led coalition in Iraq. Investigators believe that a
suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden car into the 60-year-old billionaire's
convoy Monday, killing him and 16 others. Judge Mezher
said he believed that a video, in which Ahmed Abu Adas said the attack was the
work of "Victory and Jihad in Greater Syria," was a genuine claim of
responsibility. Judge Mezher's opinion, however, is far
from universally accepted. Shortly after the attack,
Justice Minister Adnan Addoum said the claim could be an attempt to mislead
investigators, the Associated Press reported from Beirut.
Abu Adas, 23, a Palestinian Lebanese believed to have
fled the country, attended two Beirut mosques known to be recruiting grounds for
the Ansar al-Islam group linked to the Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab Zarqawi.Read the whole stroy here in The Washington Times

SAVE TERRI'S LIFE. Apathy is a crime too.....

    SAVE TERRI!
THIS IS THE PLAN:Richard at blogsforterri is in contact with the people closest to Terri’s family. ALL the blogs fighting for Terri have been given their marching orders on how to SAVE TERRI. It is a simple plan that we can ALL do. There is also some GREAT information that has surfaced to help us in this fight. STAY STRONG AND VIGILANT to SAVE TERRI!First- You need to be armed with the FACTS!
Go HERE to read an affidavit by Alexander T. Gimon, PhD., a clinical neurophysiologist on Terri’s progress despite her lack of therapy and poor treatment.
Go HERE to read about the myth of PVS and Terri’s condition.
Go HERE to find out about new tests that Terri deserves in light of new information- especially due to the Sarah Scantlin case.
Go HERE to find out why Judge Greer should be removed from his position IMMEDIATELY! He is holding his position ILLEGALLY!
Go HERE to find out how Governor Jeb Bush CAN and SHOULD step in and SAVE TERRI! The Florida State Constitution clearly states in article #2: "All natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law and have inalienable rights, among which are the right to enjoy and defend life and liberty, to pursue happiness...No person shall be deprived of any right because of race, religion, national origin, or physical disability."
Second- Email Jeb Bush. Copy and paste info you get from above onto a word doc and save it. This way you can easily copy and paste this info into any and ALL emails—you will be more effective by arming yourself with facts, and also utilizing your time wisely. jeb@jeb.org
Third- Email EVERY SINGLE MEDIA SOURCE YOU CAN WITH THIS INFO—ESPECIALLY INFO ABOUT JUDGE GREER ILLEGALLY SITTING IN HIS POSITION! This kind of info is just a great bit of meat for the media vultures—they love scandal—they see this fight for Terri as a bunch of emotional fanatics. A judge sitting in his perch illegally is something more worth covering. DO not limit your emails to JUST this piece of info—but START with it…
Fourth- Email, and call EVERYONE you know--- EVERYONE! GET THEM TO ALSO JOIN THE EMAIL CAMPAIGN! If you live locally in Florida- make calls too! Flood them. Flood them! Flood them! Let them know the POWER of the PEOPLE they CLAIM to SERVE!

TIP: If you are unsure of what to write, Shari starts EACH email with this:

So Getting Head in the Oval Office while deploying our sons and daughters is inappropriate? Really?

Bush (someone) finally said it. Clinton disgraced the WhiteHouse, its standing and prestige in the world and in our innocent American souls. Arose may be a rose but a pig is surely a pig. Think for one moment the stones thorwn at a Republican president that raped, pillaged, and bald faced lied to the American People.
    Bush: Clinton 'Disgraced the Nation'
President Bush had some choice words for both his predecessor, Bill Clinton, and his likely opponent, Al Gore, in tapes recorded by historian Doug Wead two years before Bush ran for the White House and excerpted by the New York Times on Sunday.
Speaking in 1998, when news headlines were filled with lurid details of Clinton's involvement with intern Monica Lewinsky, Bush decried the investigation into the scandal, telling Wead, "I don't like it either."
"But on the other hand," Bush added in the next breath, "I think he has disgraced the nation."
During the 2000 presidential campaign, Bush would say publicly that he intended to "restore the honor and dignity" of the office, but never directly referenced any of the Clinton scandals -- and he never personally attacked the president himself.
At the GOP convention in Philadelphia that year, the Bush campaign went so far as to decline to allow an on-site tribute to the Republican House members who prosecuted Clinton's impeachment -- one of Bush's first attempts to bring the now famous "new tone" to Washington.
Privately, however, Bush was more candid, acknowledging that while his past wasn't perfect, there was a key difference between how he and Clinton handled their respective problems.
"I did some things when I was young that were immature," he told Wead. "The difference between me and the president [is] I've learned. I am prepared to accept the responsibility of this office."
While always remaining civil on the campaign trail, the Times said, privately Bush could hardly contain his disdain for Al Gore, at one point telling Wead that the then-vice president was "pathologically a liar."

    John Glenn has an Epiphany!

Unbelievable...I take back every bad thing I ever said about him I guess everyone has an Achilles heel. This is the best stuff I've seen. This should NOT STOP CIRCULATING ON THE INTERNET.

    WOW!

    WHAT SENATOR JOHN GLENN SAID:

Things that make you think a  little........

    1. There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during
January.... In the fair city of Detroit there were 35
murders in the  month     of January.  That's just one
American city, about as deadly as the  entire war torn
    country of Iraq
    2. When some claim President Bush  shouldn't have
started this war, state the following:
      a. FDR...led  us into World War II.
      b. Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an
    average of 112,500  per year.
      c.  Truman...finished that war and started one in
Korea .   North Korea never attacked us.
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were  lost, an
    average of 18,334 per year.
       d. John F. Kennedy. ..started  the Vietnam
conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
       e.  Johnson...turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000  lives were lost, an
    average of 5,800 per year.
       f. Clinton ..went to  war in Bosnia without UN or
French consent. Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a
platter three times  by Sudan and did nothing Osama has
    attacked us on multiple occasions.
       g. In the years since terrorists attacked us
President Bush has  liberated two countries, crushed
the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear  inspectors
in Libya , Iran and North Korea without firing a shot,
and  captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of
    his own people.

The  Democrats are complaining about how long the war
is taking, but...It took  less time to take Iraq than
it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian
compound. That was a 51-day operation.

We've been looking for  evidence of chemical weapons in
Iraq for less time than it took Hillary  Clinton to
find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time  for the 3rd Infantry Division and
the Marines to destroy the Medina  Republican Guard
than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his
    Oldsmobile sank at Chapaquiddick

It took less time to take Iraq than  it took to count
    the votes in Florida!!!!

Our Commander-In-Chief is  doing a GREAT JOB! The
Military morale is  high!  The biased media hopes we
are too ignorant to realize the facts.

    But  Wait, there's  more......................

JOHN GLENN (ON THE SENATE FLOOR)

Some people still don't understand why military
personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange
between Senators  John Glenn and Senator Howard
Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a  pretty
impressive impromptu speech, but it's also a good
example of one  man's explanation of why men and women
in the armed services do what they do  for a living.

This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some
who have never served think of the military.

Senator Metzenbaum  (speaking to Senator Glenn): "How
can you run for Senate when you've never  held a real
    job?"
Senator Glenn (D-Ohio): "I served 23 years in the
