There is a great irony in all the Condoleeza Rice dissent. Let us reflect back for a moment to that unforgettable historical milestone - Remember the hubbub, cheers, tears, screams and wailing over Halle Berry's great first? Yes, that impossible achievement for the first Black woman to win an academy award for giving Billy Bob a crazy piece of ass............remember? Oh yes, what greatness, accomplishment, fortitude............
FAST FORWARD JANUARY 26, 2005 Condoleezza Rice is nominated for Secretary of State - first Black Woman ever, youngest provost at Stanford, years of foreign affairs experience, sees the gathering storm and has steel cujones and plays the global chessboard to win - and what do we hear? Wailing, cheering, screaming, gleeful praise of the great possiblility that is America?
Nah....we hear Aunt Jemima, we hear puppet, we hear lackey, we hear liar, we hear diabolical, we hear everything but the truth
On Teddy Kennedy, remember how he killed Mary Jo Kopechne when he drove his car into a pond and the car overturned. Kennedy slithered out and left Mary JO to die He called the police the NEXT day..................Is there a metaphor here? That Teddy would abandon the the Iraqis at their most critical moment, at the teetering on democracy and totalitarianism - much the way he abandoned Mary Jo Kopechne?
Just my opinion
